Emerge

Overview

Emerge is a digital freight marketplace platform, where shippers and carriers can adapt and adjust to marketplace fluctuations in real-time. Emerge's main goal is to facilitate long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between shippers and carriers and create a positive network effect.

**API Information **

The Base URL used for the Emerge connector is **https://api.emergemarket.io/v1 **for production and **https://demo-api.emergemarket.dev/v1 **for testing and development. More information can be found on their main API documentation (v1) site.

Authentication

Within the builder, click on the Emerge connector to display the connector properties panel. Select the 'Auth' tab and click the 'New authentication' button. In the Tray.io authentication pop-up modal, name the authentication in a way that will quickly identify it within a potentially large list. For example, whether it is a Sandbox or Production auth, etc. Consider who/ how many people will need access to this authentication when choosing where to create this authentication ('Personal' or 'Organisational'). The second page asks you for your 'Username', 'Password' and 'Environment' credentials. To get these fields, head to the Emerge dashboard. Sign up for an account to get a 'Username' and 'Password' Enter an 'Environment' which should be a full instance endpoint URL. For example 'https://demo-api.emergemarket.dev/v1' Once you have added these fields to your Tray.io authentication pop-up window, click the 'Create authentication' button.  Your connector authentication setup should now be complete.
