Overview

Tatango is a mobile marketing company that specializes in text message marketing services.

**API Information **

The Base URL used for the Tatango connector is https://app.tatango.com/api/v2. More information can be found on their main API documentation (v2.0) site.

Authentication

Within the builder, click on the Tatango connector to display the connector properties panel. Select the 'Auth' tab and click on the 'New authentication' button. New auth screen In the Tray.io authentication pop-up modal, name the authentication in a way that will quickly identify it within a potentially large list. For example, whether it is a Sandbox or Production auth, etc. Consider who/ how many people will need access to this authentication when choosing where to create this authentication ('Personal' or 'Organisational'). Once you have added these fields to your Tray.io authentication pop-up window, click the 'Create authentication' button.  Your connector authentication setup should now be complete.

Tatango Trigger

The Tatango trigger allows you to receive notifications and trigger workflows when given events occur associated with the selected trigger operation.

Trigger Operations available:

  • Webhook

Webhook Setup

Follow the instructions above to authenticate your trigger. Select 'Webhook' as the event you wish your trigger to listen to in order to set off the workflow itself. Make sure to also specify the 'Event type' you want the webhook to listen out for and respond to: In this example, the event type selected is 'Subscribe event', 'Unsubscribe event' and 'Message sent event'. Now, when the workflow is enabled (in the account the trigger is authenticated to), a webhook will be sent and this workflow will be triggered. Trigger set up.

Make sure to click 'Enable' in the bottom-center of your workflow, in order to activate your workflow in time for any incoming events you want your trigger to pick up on.
