Overview

Zoho Books is a cloud-based accounting platform tailored for small and medium-sized businesses to manage invoices, expenses, taxes, and other financial activities. With the Zoho Books connector in Tray.io, you can seamlessly integrate your accounting data with other applications, automate finance-related workflows, and boost operational efficiency.

Authentication

Within the builder, click on the Orderful connector to display the connector properties panel. Select the Authentication tab and click on the Create new authentication button. Create zoho-books auth In the Tray.io authentication pop-up modal, name your authentication in a way that will quickly identify it within a potentially large list. For example whether it is a Sandbox or Production auth, etc. Consider who/ how many people will need access to this authentication when choosing where to create this authentication ('Personal' vs 'Organisational'). The next page asks you for your application credentials. Zoho-books client and secret id auth To get these fields, head to the Zoho developer console: https://accounts.zoho.com/developerconsole. Create an account or log in with your credentials. After logging in click "Get started", or if you already have an existing oauth app click "add client" Add new oauth zoho-books Then select "Server-based Applications" Zoho-books type of oauth

Then fill the form and for authorized URIs provide this URL "https://auth.tray.io/oauth2/token" Zoho-books oauth redirect

After you hit "create" you will get the Client ID and Client Secret. Once you have added these fields to your Tray.io authentication pop-up window click the Create authentication button. Your connector authentication setup should now be complete. Please run the simplest operation available to test and make sure you can retrieve data as expected.

The connector requests the following scopes:

  • ZohoBooks.accountants.READ
  • ZohoBooks.contacts.ALL
  • ZohoBooks.estimates.ALL
  • ZohoBooks.invoices.ALL
  • ZohoBooks.expenses.ALL
  • ZohoBooks.salesorders.ALL
  • ZohoBooks.settings.ALL

Use Cases

Sync Zoho Books Contacts with a CRM (e.g., HubSpot)
