Alerting Trigger
Set up a trigger to handle errors coming from your Tray workflows
Overview
The Alerting trigger is used for setting up error handling workflows. An enabled alerting workflow can be set as:
All workflows in your Tray instance
- The alerting workflow for all workflows in your Tray instance
- Triggers for ALL workflows in a Tray instance
- Can be in the Organization workspace OR Personal workspace - best practice is the Organization workspace
- Blocked by alerting workflows assigned to specific workflows OR for workflows in a personal workspace by a personal alerting workflow
- Can be set by Admin users only
Individual workflow(s) in the same workspace
- The alerting workflow for individual workflow(s) in the same workspace
- Triggers for a SINGLE workflow
- Must be in the same workspace as the assigned workflow
- Overrides all other alerting workflows
All workflows in your personal workspace
The alerting workflow for all workflows in a user's personal workspace
- Triggers for ALL workflows in your personal workspace
- Must be in your personal workspace
- **Overrides instance-level alerting workflows **(but will itself be overridden by individual workflow alerting) Please see the error handling documentation for full instructions.
